The Ommyeah! feeling
The Ommyeah! feeling is all about enjoying exercise, having a laugh and getting a balance between some om-centring timeout from work/kids/hectic life, and some fist-pumping endorphin-making fun. There’s too much going on in life to fit some dreaded exercise into the mix. Exercise should be fun, should make you smile, and should make you feel amazing – otherwise you wont want to do it.
Our Story
Every business has a beginning, and ours was in the 80’s – We were born to have fun, to exercise without realising, and to put smiles on people’s faces.
Meet the Team
Kate and Jo wont always dress like this for your sessions but if it will make the session more fun they’ll dress up as pretty much anything (shark, pantomime cow, sumo wrestler…)
Kate
Barrumba & Personalised Fun
Doesn’t take life or exercise too seriously, but gets very excited about both.
Prone to getting overly excited and not being able to sit still, Kate was always going to be active (and tricky to manage). She grew up doing ballet, but found it to be too constricting for her free-spirited dance moves. Her party-trick go-to is the spinny-leg breakdance move, which if drunk turns into a back spin and with (very little) encouragement she will also throw in a worm, mimicking her toddler throwing a tantrum. She’s worked in advertising and digital, so is the one to blame if this website looks crap.
Jo
Yoga & Personalised Fun
Prone to giggling, and giving instructions in a husky voice.
Jo grew up as a semi-contortionist excelling at gymnastics and getting herself into tricky situations. After a few too many years, her party-trick remains downing a bottle of wine and doing the limbo. She’s worked in TV and travelled the world with her job, so she’ll be able to show you how to pose for your post-workout selfie and give you tips on where to go on your next holiday. She got into yoga meditation so that she could use them as an excuse for some peace and quiet from the kids.
